About Us
Nicholas earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science with coaching concentration and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Pittsburgh. He has experience working as a physical therapist, coach, and group exercise instructor in a variety of settings and he has worked with athletes of all levels from beginner to high level collegiate and professional athletes. Nicholas has completed extensive training in the application of manual therapy and evidence based principles for the orthopedic, sports medicine, and athlete populations, including earning Functional Dry Needling Practitioner from Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and Manual Therapy Certification through Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions. He is also a Certified Clinical Instructor and active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Nicholas’ clinical interests include orthopedic rehabilitation, injury prevention, and sports performance. Outside of work, he enjoys training and competing in triathlon and running events, traveling, and snowboarding. He looks forward to helping you to achieve your goals.
Jessica attended University of Pittsburgh earning a bachelor's degree in neuroscience, certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine, and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She has worked as a physical therapist and coach in a variety of settings and with athletes of all ages and abilities, including beginner to high level and professional athletes, sports teams, and individual private clients. Jessica has completed advanced training in evidence based evaluation and treatment for the orthopedic and sports medicine populations, including achieving Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics, earning Manual Therapy Certification through the Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions, becoming certified in Rehab, Injury Prevention, and Peak Performance for running athletes and endurance athletes. She has also completed several multi-course continuing education series related to running athletes, kinesiology tape application, and Pilates rehabilitation. Jessica is a Certified Clinical Instructor and has experience teaching both physical therapy students and continuing education for licensed therapists. She also has experience with the development of injury prevention programs, post-operative return to sport protocols, and clinical practice guidelines. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Her clinical interests include orthopedic rehabilitation, injury prevention, sports performance, community health and wellness. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors to run, hike, and snowboard. She enjoys being active in her local running community through participation in races, volunteering, coaching and helping endurance athletes to achieve their goals.
